I have a proposal. It was actually Ricky's idea. I would like to start a Biggest Loser Contest. I need a little incentive to lose weight - and I think this could be just the thing. Here's how it'll work...
Anyone can enter the contest.
It'll cost $10 per person to enter.
The winner will get a gift card to the location of their choice (with all the entry money).
The contest will start Monday, October 13th - and end Sunday, April 12th (Easter Sunday) - that's about 6 months.
On Monday - we'll weigh in with our starting weights.
SO - Who's in??

I'm up for it, but what are the rules? How will we do weigh ins? And I'm assuming it's by percentage lost, since some of us may weigh alot less than others??
Definitely by percentage. I plan to weigh in every Monday. I will be posting my weight on my blog. I'm keeping a log (excel file) so I can monitor progress - also so I can set weekly/monthly goals. I would love it if everyone posted their stats too - but that's entirely up to each of you. As long as you keep track of your own info, I'm cool with that. We'll weigh in for the final on Sunday, April 12th - and whoever has lost the most (percentage wise) will win.

OK, I'm going to join you! I've been unable to exercise due to some sports injuries and have packed on some pounds. I'm going back to weight lifting, which puts on pounds, so I'll join you and share body fat percentage lost. I'll use the analyzer at the gym (which I haven't been to in a year).
